An unique approach towards digital and interactive material has been recently developed. This was created as a support material for when I was volunteering for NYE Fest. The UK's biggest New Year's Latin-related dancing convention took place at the end of December towards the New Year into New Year's Day 2024. The document provided information maps guidelines and references which enabled me to the organized and resourceful when handling a variety of situations which can occur during my volunteering role. It was presented using an interactive interface including index pages to access the different sections of the documents, providing quick links to access specific contents even to a different section and shortcut links to access different sections after documents quickly and efficiently. Preparation As part of developing an interactive organizer a customised events map was made to make it easy to access the information quickly easy to direct the visitors and part of the prince to the relevant area of the venue effectively. Some of the content was strengthened by developing a series of highlighted solid colour shapes behind specific written information. This design feature was used related to communication guidelines and procedures related to important situations. This enables me to digest and respond appropriately when serious and challenging situations occur. Presentation The overall look is presented using visual effects and background gradient blends. With the index and shortcut links using free dimensional blended shapes. The document was presented using a colour coding system it was important to identify information and resources quickly within each section This was important to enable me to maintain interest in accessing the appropriate information, references and resources quickly and effectively when I am volunteering during a series of four-hour duration for two days. The team behind the NYE Fest was extremely impressed with what was developed. Overall I used design imagination and innovation to develop a digital document which enabled me to be efficient, resourced and flexible during my volunteer role.
